If you do not pick up your order from the markets, we will refund your money the first time. It will be under our discretion whether we do it again.
Our Jersey (and a few Jersey-cross) cows are pastured year round, only confined long enough for their twice daily milkings. They are never given growth (rBGH) or milk (rBST) enhancing hormones and we give them approximately 2 months “off” prior to calving for some rest and relaxation before their next lactation. Our ladies are fed 85% forage (grass, silage, and dry hay) and 15% mixed barn ration. The cows are rarely treated with antibiotics and when they are, we withhold their milk from sale until the antibiotic residue in the milk is at an undetectable level (half or less FDA allowable limit).
Happy cows produce the best-tasting milk, which is why we let our cattle roam on the open pastures. Our milk tastes so natural and fresh you would think you were drinking it straight from the udder. It’s packed full of vitamins A, D, E, and K and makes for a creamy refreshing drink.
We craft our cheese with fresh Raw milk from our grass-fed Jersey cows, to provide you authentic flavor, complex cream and local terroir. Amazing on its own or with wine or crackers---an easy way to impress your guests and delight your palate.
Our yogurt is made with our Raw Jersey milk. It is a rich, smooth, creamy textured yogurt. That is high in proteins and calcium with live active cultures. Our yogurt comes in many flavors and plain too.
